31/07/2013 - Your Games also in August OPEN FOR HOLIDAYS!
Also this year, although Staff of PAROLE CROCIATE.net will be on vacation in August, you will not run out of games!
Crosswords, Sudoku, Calcudoku, Enigmas, Anagrams and Rebus will continue to come out regularly every day at 22.30 and Saturday "doble" at 14.00.
The Sprinters Rank and the Board will not be updated regularly and any possible report on the published games will be handled in September.

02/02/2013 - Players' Avatars From today we say stop to the users without a face! Thanks to the opportunity given us by Gravatar.com, each player will show if he wants - next to his User name - an image that most represents him.
In this way, also, our rankings will be more charming and personalized, and each of you will be able to see the faces of the opponents to overcome! :-)
How to upload your own avatar? It's rather simple: first you have to go on the site www.gravatar.com and sign up using the same e-mail address used to register on Parolecrociate.net.
Once registered you will receive an activation e-mail with a link that you must use to enter username and password for your gravatar account. We suggest the use of a browser other than Internet Explorer at this stage because we have noticed problems in the validation phase of the username.
Once the phase of activation is completed, you can upload your avatar, which will be magically reported also on the pages of Parolecrociate.net!
There are many sites for downloading nice avatars. For example: http://www.avatarsdb.com.

07/11/2012 - Two Challenges in one! During the current 28th Challenge there will be a change: Sprinters and Experimental Rankings will be reset at the end of December.
So we will have two different challenges: one for November and December and one for January and February.
The winners of each challenge will have half a star on their "curriculum" and half a point in the Gold Book.
The rules for other Rankings (General, Monthly, Regularity, etc ...) will not change (at least for the moment!).
11/07/2012 - Saving of unfinished Crosswords THE NEWS THAT MANY HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!
Now you can SAVE a crossword puzzle and then UPLOAD it. It is an improvement that many have requested to me over the years, especially useful for those games that take a long time to be solved.
In this way you can start the game and resume it later without having to fill it out every time.
A very simple function: there are two buttons in the shape of disc with outgoing and incoming arrows. The first button allows you to UPLOAD the puzzle, the second one to SAVE it.
To save and load your puzzle you need to log in; the function does not exist on syllabic crosswords and calcudoku.
Please test this novelty and let me know any problem or anomaly. CIAO! :-D
30/05/2012 - The translations Italian-English and English-Italian are now complete We have finished the translation of the site: now in the upper right of each page there is a flag, clicking on it you will reach the same page translated.
24/05/2012 - Solutions sent for Calcudoku In the User Area are now also available your replies sent to solve Calcudoku.
So you can check the mistake done in case of wrong answer.

13/05/2012 - Crosswords on Tablet: iPad - Android - ... As of today, all our Crosswords can be played on Tablet, too!
You'll notice the words "show the keyboard": clicking there, you'll get a "virtual keyboard", with it you can fill in the puzzle.

03/05/2012 - Saturday Doble ALWAYS Great news! Experimentally, for the duration of the present challenge, we will post 8 games per week: daily at 22.30 GMT+1 and every Saturday at 14.00 GMT+1!
We hope you will enjoy the extra game and that you will continue to come in large number even on weekends!
P.S.: on Saturday afternoon there is not always a calcudoku... :-)
